Safeguarding in education
Education is an extremely important sector for the safeguarding of children.
Cheshire East CESCP has two Board Members representing
- East Cheshire Association of Secondary Heads
- East Cheshire Association of Primary Heads
This provides a valuable direct link, allowing schools to play a strong role in the development of safeguarding systems and services. CESCP Board Members (PDF, 107KB).
Cheshire East schools and settings receive safeguarding training and other support from the Safeguarding Children in Education and Settings (SCIES) team.
