Training Programme

Cheshire East Safeguarding Childen’s Partnership training aims to equip practitioners with the confidence and competence to respond effectively to children's safeguarding issues.

Training brochure and courses

Our CESCP training brochure details the aims and objectives of each course and who the course is aimed at.

Training is currently being delivered virtually using Microsoft Teams.

Please be aware that from April 2019 the CESCP will no longer be offering face to face Basic Awareness safeguarding training or the Intermediate course. This means that all of the CESCP courses we run will now be available to any participant as long as they have completed an Introduction to Safeguarding within their own agency or online. For domestic abuse courses please access the Level 1 course before applying for any other domestic abuse training.

This decision has been made by the Learning and Development sub group and reflects the need to respond to emerging safeguarding issues through a blended approach to the delivery of learning and development opportunities and the guidance within “Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018. The CESCP offers an Introduction to Safeguarding e-learning course which is available free. Content which was previously included within the Intermediate has been absorbed into other relevant courses and many organisations are now offering similar content through their own service specific training. For any further information or questions regarding CESCP training please contact the CESCP training administrator or the CESCP training manager. We will aim to get back to you as quickly as we can.

If you have any queries related to CESCP or CEDAP multi-agency training please contact the Training Administrator.
